Intensive Iridology

Intensive Iridology Diploma Course

This is the most extensive course available for Pure Iridology in the UK. It is much sought after by practitioners and even graduates from some other Iridology courses.

The coursed covers both American and European research. It has the pre-requisite of certification in Anatomy & Physiology, together with a qualification in at least one therapy such as Nutrition, Reflexology, Homeopathy, Herbalism.

The course is structured as a completely self-contained, fully colour illustrated, learning and referenced, 6 module programme. It requires previous good grounding in Anatomy, Physiology and the Pathology of the Pathways of Disease.

This mainly distance learning course includes 6 modules, which should ideally take between 6-9 months to complete, depending on the practitioner's allocation of study hours. Part-time attendance is compulsory to meet the requirements of the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International. There are frequent workshops and seminars, mostly held in Central London on Saturdays and Sundays. Attendance is required at a minimum of three 1 day workshops and 2 seminars; this attendance, along with Clinical Training, amounts to a minimum of 72 hours.

Application Form

The Beginners' Workshops incorporate many photographic images to help 'get one's eye in', as well as opportunities to try out the wide range of the 'tools of the trade' and to practice on fellow students who are at a similar stage of training.

The Advanced Workshops also include photographic images to allow discussion of iris analysis, along with discussions on real patient case histories.

Larger seminars required for post-graduate Continued Professional Development are held at intervals. These include the International Iridology Symposium run by the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International.

Successful completion of the course, to include a written and practical examination, leads to the Master Iridologist's Diploma. Where the graduate also has a therapeutic qualification that raises them to Practitioner status (rather than that of a diagnostician), there is automatic eligibility for membership of the Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists International, which provides the additional use of the letters AMGNI or MGNI, depending upon the therapy already acquired.
